Through my research I discovered that this Jeanne Paquin bodice was altered from its original state. It was redesigned to meet the ever changing fashion trends. The alterations occurred on the neckline and sleeves to bring the silhouette from the early 1890s to the Edwardian silhouette of the early 1900s.
