Liberty Hall conducts several talks and “Objects of the Month” throughout the year. While there I had the opportunity to mount some of these objects, which included two Dior-New York gowns, a custom Henri Bendel gown. and a Madame Madeleine Laferrière coat. I expanded my research on Madeleine Laferrière to learn about her extensive history as a designer for the Royal Family of England. Mounting was something I was passionate about in school and was beyond happy to apply it during my fellowship.
